Welcome to the Clyde Savannah Jr. Eagles website. We are looking forward to a great season. We have considerable number of boys and girls signed up and are excited about the start of the football and cheerleading season.
The Clyde Savannah Jr. Eagle's football and cheerleading league believes that all children should be allowed to develop a love for each sport they participate in while also learning the value of sportsmanship.
"Youth Sports should be FUN for players, coaches and parents!" Our focus is on sportsmanship, teamwork, individual player development, and having FUN! With this in mind, the CS Jr. Eagles football league firmly believes that all parents and coaches play an important role in our programs, and that young athletes learn valuable lessons by watching the behaviors and attitudes of the adults who supervise their activities. Therefore, the CS Jr. Eagles Board pledges to create a positive learning experience where the children learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship, while at the same time learn to play and respect the game.
This
program is offered to all our children who want to play football and be cheerleaders.
It, therefore,
requires all parents and guardians to commit the time and energy to the program,
in much the same way we ask our children to make a commitment to the program.
We ask that you understand that your volunteering is for your child and their
teammates, not for the Board. We all should be involved for our children's
sake and the joy and opportunity they have to be involved. This should be
fun and if we all approach the program as needing everyone to do their best,
it will be the best for our children.
We need parents, guardians and spectators to remember that, again, we are all volunteers. Our coaches and committee members find it very rewarding to work with your children. We expect everyone involved to respect the efforts of all individuals, including coaches and officials. If you have a concern or question please discuss it during an agreed upon time and place with the coach and/or board member.
